To our NCW Wrestling Family:
Phillip Simpson, Father of Pat and Jim passed away this morning. Funeral arrangements and visitation are:
Sunday Apr 3- Visitation at Christ the King Church from 3:00 – 5:00 pm (with Rosary at 3:00), and visitation from 7:00 – 8:30 pm
Monday Apr 4 – Funeral Mass at 10:00 am – Christ the King Church
Please keep the Simpson family in your prayers.
ACT Prep class Saturday 3-12-16 in the Father Ryan Library from 10:00-12:00
Don’t forget that during the month of March we will be practicing Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays form 4:30-6:ish. Starting today, March 7.
Open to high school and experienced middle school wrestlers.
Banquet invitation for NCW Middle School wrestlers
Each year the Father Ryan Wrestling team celebrates with an end of year banquet and NCW Middle school wrestlers and their families are invited to join. The banquet is scheduled for Saturday March 12, at 6:00 pm in the Father Ryan Dining Hall. Cost is $20 per person, and you must RSVP back to vwesley@comcast.net by Friday March 4 with the total number attending. The event will be catered again this year by Tex’s BBQ, and we will be ordering food for all RSVP’s and must require payment on all reservations. All wrestlers need to wear a Coat and Tie and RSVP if your Middle Schooler will attend.
Couple of things:
1. Practice starts again Monday, March 7, at 4:30. We will practice the month of March on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 4:30. Middle School and High School Nationals are April 1-3 in Virginia Beach. If you are planning on wrestling please let Coach Simpson know.
2. The next ACT date is April 9. NCW ACT prep classes for this test are
Sunday, March 6, 3:30-5:30
Saturday, March 12, 10:00-12:00
Sunday, March 20, 3:30-5:30
And a to be determined date either the last week of March of the first week of April.
All classes to be held in the Father Ryan library. The course is open to all NCW high school members. There is no cost for this course and participation is strongly encouraged. Sign up with Coach Dempsey.
