NCW Wrestling Updates
We hope everyone has enjoyed their summer! Wrestling season will be here soon. We encourage everyone to register your wrestlers, the links are updated for the 2023-2024 season. We have several dates on the calendar to remember including fundraisers. These fundraisers help sponsor registrations, camps, NHSCA in the spring for Middle School and more. We need everyone’s involvement to make these events a success!

October 13-15 – Chad Red Camp (Middle School/High School)
October 16 – MS Season begins. Practice schedule Monday 5:30-7 (with HS), Wednesday & Thursday 5:30-7
October 16-20 – Wrestlemania
November 5 – Crumbsnatcher parent meeting and first practice. Practice Sunday’s at 4:30 PM and Tuesday’s at 5:30 PM.
Legends Hospitality Fundraising
We will continue working with Nissan Stadium and Legends Hospitality for fundraising this season. Our high schoolers and coaching staff have been hard at work this summer staffing five events!! We are almost halfway to our fundraising goal of $40,000 for this season. We need help from our middle school and crumbsnatcher families to staff the final two events. These positions do have age requirements. Please refer to the sign up genius for specifics. Our next event is this Friday, 8/25/23. Our roster is due by this Tuesday! Please consider volunteering! FATHER RYAN WRESTLING CAMP
Father Ryan is hosting a wrestling camp next week, June 19-23, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Camp is open to wrestlers in grades K-8th. MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP
Next week we will have one of the top coaches in the country here to run a 4-day camp for Middle School and High School wrestlers. He coaches the Ohio National team and will be bringing wrestlers with him for camp. Registration is not required. Dates and times are as follows:
Wednesday, 6/21/23, 6:00-8:00 PM
Thursday, 6/22/23, 12:00-6:00 PM
Friday, 6/23/23, 12:00-6:00 PM
Saturday, 6/24/23, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Middle School Summer Practices
Middle School will continue to practice with High School this summer. Practices will continue Monday 5:30-7 PM and Wednesday 3-4:30 PM. The TSSAA “dead period” will be June 25-July 8. No practice during those two weeks. Keep an eye on email reminders and GroupMe for any changes.
Rising Freshman
We have a GroupMe for high school parents and wrestlers. If your wrestler will be a rising freshman this year at Father Ryan please email nashvillecatholicwrestling1@gmail.com with parent and wrestler names and phone numbers to be added to GroupMe.

Welcome back to the original and longest running WrestleMania in Middle Tennessee!!
Fresh off the 10th Dual State Championship Title (26th State Championship in Program History!!) the Father Ryan wrestling team in partnership with Nashville Catholic Wrestling is excited to announce the return of WrestleMania. This will be a four (4) day Monday through Thursday, introductory wrestling experience for the beginner wrestler. We will be teaching skills and emphasizing movement, body control, and fun. This program has a rich history of introducing the sport to future state champions. WrestleMania will be April 10-13, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm in the Patrick Simpson ’74 Wrestling Facility at Father Ryan High School. Grades included in WrestleMania will be Pre-K-8th. Bring shorts and T-shirts. Participants will receive a complimentary Irish Wrestling T-shirt. Celebrate the legacy and order your championship sweatshirt today! The Irish won their 10th Dual State Title this season, 26th State Championship with 87 Individual State Champions in program history!!
DEADLINE to order, 3/18/23. Order and payment must be time stamped on 3/18/23 for order to be placed.
Sweatshirts are $25 each, sizes XXL and up $27. Adult sweatshirts will be charcoal grey, youth and toddler heather grey.
Pickup at Father Ryan wrestling expected on 3/29/23. An email will be sent for pickup. NO shipping.
