We are excited to host WrestleMania again this fall!!

Fresh off their championship season the Father Ryan Wrestling Team in partnership with Nashville Catholic Wrestling is excited to announce the return of WrestleMania this fall.

This will be a three (3) day Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, introductory wrestling experience for the beginner wrestler. We will be teaching skills and emphasizing movement, body control, and fun. This program has a rich history of introducing the sport to future state champions.

WrestleMania
When: October 16, 17, and 19, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm
Location: in the Patrick Simpson ’74 Wrestling Facility at Father Ryan High School

CAR WASH FUNDRAISER
Due to a scheduling conflict we had to change the date for our car wash. We are scheduled for September 23 from 8 am – 1 pm at the Hoover/US Bank Building, 2019 Richard Jones Road, Nashville. Please share our flyer share across social media!

Legends Hospitality Fundraising
We have one more Legends Hospitality at Nissan Stadium on our calendar. We need help from our middle school and crumbsnatcher families to staff the final events. We have several dates on the calendar to remember including fundraisers. These fundraisers help sponsor registrations, camps, NHSCA in the spring for Middle School and more. We will continue working with Nissan Stadium and Legends Hospitality for fundraising this season. Our high schoolers and coaching staff have been hard at work this summer staffing five events!! We are almost halfway to our fundraising goal of $40,000 for this season. We need help from our middle school and crumbsnatcher families to staff the final two events. FATHER RYAN WRESTLING CAMP
Father Ryan is hosting a wrestling camp next week, June 19-23, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Camp is open to wrestlers in grades K-8th. MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP
Next week we will have one of the top coaches in the country here to run a 4-day camp for Middle School and High School wrestlers. He coaches the Ohio National team and will be bringing wrestlers with him for camp. Registration is not required. Dates and times are as follows:

Thursday, 6/22/23, 12:00-6:00 PM
Friday, 6/23/23, 12:00-6:00 PM
Saturday, 6/24/23, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Middle School Summer Practices
Middle School will continue to practice with High School this summer. Practices will continue Monday 5:30-7 PM and Wednesday 3-4:30 PM. The TSSAA “dead period” will be June 25-July 8. No practice during those two weeks. Keep an eye on email reminders and GroupMe for any changes.

Rising Freshman
We have a GroupMe for high school parents and wrestlers. If your wrestler will be a rising freshman this year at Father Ryan please email nashvillecatholicwrestling1@gmail.com with parent and wrestler names and phone numbers to be added to GroupMe.
