There will be no practice tomorrow for all ages due to the Super Bowl. Information about regions next weekend will be posted Monday.

Father Ryan Irish Wrestling team is in the finals of the TSSAA Dual State Tournament tonight at 7:00 pm at the Williamson County Ag Center. Come support the IRISH!!!!!

The match on Sunday with the Big Red Wrestling Club from 2:00 – 4:00 at Father Ryan is for all K-6th graders. 1st year 7th graders should also come and plan to wrestle. Middle school will have practice at the regularly scheduled time, 4:30 – 6:30. If your child does not have a singlet, they may wear shorts and a tighter fitting t-shirt.

Good luck to our wrestlers in the AAU Top 100 tournament and the Father Ryan wrestlers at regions tomorrow!

There are 2 events this weekend for NCW. I need to know by Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at noon if your child will be wrestling. I can only register those that have turned in their registration forms and have paid. * (There are many that are attending practices and have not turned in this information. We must have these forms on file in order for your child to continue practice with NCW. The documents can be found on the homepage. We do have scholarships available. Please email info@nashvillecatholicwrestling.com if you would like to utilize the scholarship. )* For both events I will need their name, date of birth and weight class. Please email me at constancewesnofske@comcast.net if your child will be wrestling.

● Weigh-ins will be done in singlet with a one-pound allowance only. ● NO WEIGHT CUTTING ALLOWED AT WEIGH-INS
● Skin Checks – Any questionable mars, lesions, or rashes must have official skin form completed by a doctor. Head referee has final authority without appeal to override any doctor note.
*There WILL NOT be a weigh in at the tournament site on Friday night*

2nd Event:
We will be wrestling the Big Red Wrestling Club on Sunday, January 29 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00. This takes the place of our regularly scheduled practice on Sunday. We will math the kids up according to age, weight and ability. I also need to know by Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at noon if your child will be wrestling so we are able to match the boys up against their club.

I apologize for this information. The deadline for the tournament on Saturday was midnight tonight. They closed the registration early. I was unable to register any of the boys for the tournament. There is a beginner only tournament on Sunday. The director said there are 15 spots left. If anyone would like to wrestle in this tournament, please let me know asap and I will try to get them registered in the morning. I have attached the flyer.

Next Saturday there is a TN AAU Top 100 tournament at Mt. Juliet. I will need to know at practice on Sunday if your child is going to wrestle. There is not a flyer out at this time. I will post more information as I know.
