We have a few things this week for the middle school:
Monday, 11-26, there will be no practice.
Tuesday, 11-27, we have a match vs BA at BA. 4:00 weigh-in, 4:30 match. We are not sure what they want for this yet and they should email us soon, so the roster will be released once we know.
Saturday, 12-1, we are attending the Baylor Red Raider Rumble at the Baylor School in Chattanooga. Every middle school wrestler NOT going to the Indiana Outlaw Duals on Sunday, 12-2, is eligible to wrestle. You have to be at Baylor Saturday at 9:00 and it is usually over by 3:00. Honor weigh-ins and wrestling starts at 10:00. Please tell Coach Gorham if you plan to attend, and have your weight checked, at Sunday’s practice.
Sunday, 12-2, Indiana Outlaw Duals. We will leave by bus from Father Ryan at 12:00 noon Saturday, 12-1. We will return Sunday evening. We have room on the bus for the wrestlers and one parent if you would like to attend. Please inform Coach Gorham at practice if you will be riding with us. We have a block of rooms reserved at the Comfort Inn Huntington, 260-956-3434. Please call and claim a room as they will be released Wednesday. And please inform Coach Gorham if you will not be attending and your wrestler needs a room. Going so far ( I realize we have some open spots-they will be filled once we check some weights and availability), and the weights they need to make, are:

We have an individual team tournament this weekend, 11-17: The Union County Battle of the Brave.

Weigh-ins start at 7:30 and we must weigh-in as a team, so we’d like everyone to be there by 7:30.
They are on CST and it takes about 2 hours and 45 min to get there, so you should plan to leave Saturday morning around 4:45.

Final reminder / K-8 Club season starts this Sunday November 18
The NCW “Club” season begins with signups and first practice this Sunday November 18 at 4:30 pm in the Father Ryan wrestling room. All boys K-8 are invited and no experience is necessary. New attendees will learn what equipment should be purchased and should attend in shorts, tshirt and socks. The cost is $150 and parents must also print, complete, and sign the registration form on the main page or in this link below:
Current wrestlers who have registered and paid for the Middle School season can continue with Club at no additional cost. Club practices are on Sundays 4:30 – 5:30 pm and Wednesdays 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Any questions can be addressed and additional information provided on Sunday November 18. Please pass this info to others interested.
We have a dual with Harding Academy Tuesday November 13. 4:00 weigh-in and you do not have to be on weight.
