The 2022 TN USAW Freestyle/Greco State Championship is this Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Summit High School in Spring Hill.  This tournament is open to ALL wrestlers.  If you would like your wrestler to participate please complete the google form by Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Noon. Please note, the USA Cadet (16U) division is for wrestlers that will turn 16 this year & next.  Birth years 2006 and 2007.  All birth years 2005 and earlier will need to wrestle in the USA Junior division.

We are planning for the next wrestling season and need your ideas. We would like to space out fundraisers this year starting with summer time.  If you have fundraiser ideas please let us know.  Please reply to this email with your ideas.

Good Morning NCW Families,

The TNAAU State Championship is this weekend! Good luck to all our wrestlers that qualified to attend!

LOCATION: Farm Bureau Exposition Center, 945 E Baddour Parkway, Lebanon, TN 37087

WEIGH-INS: ALL wrestlers (except Middle School) must weigh in Friday, March 4, 2022 from 6-9 PM at Farm Bureau Expo Center. Middle School wrestlers will be allowed to weigh-in Friday evening or Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 1:30-2:30 PM. Important things to remember:

• Weigh-in with a singlet, there will be a one-pound allowance
• Wrestlers must weigh-in for the same weight they wrestled at the Region tournament, if you do not make weight you will not wrestle.
• AAU card will be need to be shown.
• Make sure fingernails are clipped prior.
• If your wrestler has braces they will be required to show their mouthpiece.

SCHEDULE:

• Tots-Bantams-Juniors – Doors open at 7 AM, Wrestling begins at 8 AM
• Juniors – Wrestling begins at 12:00 PM
• Middle School – Wrestling begins at approximately 4:30 PM

ADMISSION:

• Adults $20 at gate, $15 online
• Children (3-12) $8 at gate, $5 online
• Under 3 yrs., no charge

EXTRAS:

• NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED

• They have asked that all children be supervised and remain in the room as there will be another event happening at the venue.

We are gearing up for TNAAU Region 3 Championships.

This year, Region 3 will be held on Sunday 2/20/22 at Wilson Central High School, 419 Wildcat Way, Lebanon, TN 37090.

We will have an additional Middle School practice on Thursday from 5:30 – 6:30 pm.

The details for Region 3 Championships are as follow:
Early Weigh Ins
Saturday, 2/19/22- Wilson Central High School – 419 Wildcat Way, Lebanon, TN 37090 – 6-7:30pm CST

Sunday Weigh In 7-8 AM / Tots, Juniors & Girls – Wrestle at 9 AM
Sunday Weigh In 10-11 AM / Bantam & Midget – Wrestle at 11:30 AM
Sunday Weigh In 1:30-2:30 PM / Middle School – Wrestle at 3 PM
All wrestlers must show AAU card at weigh in time
Weigh-ins will be done in singlets with a one-pound allowance only.
NO WEIGHT CUTTING AT WEIGH-INS
Wrestlers can only wrestle ONE weight group and ONE age group.

*Only Top 4 from Midgets, Juniors and Middle School will advance to State.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 5:00pm. If you miss the deadline, you are responsible for registering your wrestler.
