Crumbsnatcher Families,

We would like crumbsnatchers to join the middle school tomorrow, 1/24/21 for practice and some live matches. Arlington wrestling will be there and should have some smaller wrestlers. Practice will begin at 9:30 and end at 12:30 pm. If you are only able to stay for a portion of the practice that is not a problem. Please complete the screen & go prior to practice and remember to bring a mask.

Unfortunately all but one team backed out of the NCW Duals tomorrow, 1/24/21. Arlington is still planning on bringing their entire lineup. NCW Duals
Sunday, January 24, 2021 we are hosting the NCW Duals at Father Ryan High School. All NCW Middle School wrestlers will participate. Wrestlers need to arrive at Father Ryan by 8:30 AM. Wrestling will begin at 10 AM. Only coaches and wrestlers will be allowed in the building. We are currently working on a way to stream the event for parents. Wrestling should finish between 1 and 3 PM. We will post an update on GroupMe for pickup. Wrestlers are encouraged to bring a cooler with lunch, snacks and water. Masks are required at all times except during a match.

Wildcat Open Tournament
Registration has opened for the Wildcat Open Tournament on Saturday, January 30, 2021. This tournament has a cap of 100 wrestlers per session. We will register wrestlers today, 1/22/21 at noon to ensure wrestlers have a spot. Please complete the Google form if you would like your wrestler to attend. Good Evening NCW families,

There is a lot of information in this email, please read to the end. Crumsnatcher practice , this week only, will be on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 5:30-6:30 PM. We will not be able to have practice on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 due to a home match at Father Ryan.

We have two tournament opportunities this Saturday. Please complete the google form by Tuesday, 1/19/21 at 9 PM, if you would like your child to participate in either tournament. Parents will be responsible for registration after the deadline. We are hosting the NCW Duals on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Start time is 10 AM. All NCW middle school wrestlers will participate.

COVID GUIDELINES WILL BE FOLLOWED: Everyone in the building will have to wear a mask. Only time a mask is not required is when the athletes are wrestling or when a person is Officiating. All wrestlers who are not on the mat wrestling must have a mask on. We will clear the gym after each session and only spectators of wrestlers in that session will be allowed entry. We are asking that each wrestler bring a maximum of 2 spectators to help us adhere to guidelines.

WEIGH-INs: Will begin 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to start time of each age division and will end 30 minutes prior to start time.
WRESTLING START TIMES:
Middle School/Schoolboy: wrestling begins at 3:45 PM
Junior/Novice: wrestling begins at 3:45 PM
Midget: wrestling begins at 1:30 PM
Bantam: wrestling begins at 11:15 AM
Tot: wrestling begins at 9:00 AM

Admission: $ 7.00 Adults and $ 5.00 Kids, Under 3 free
COVID GUIDELINES WILL BE FOLLOWED: Wrestlers will not have to wear masks while competing. Only a single division of spectators and wrestlers are allowed in the gym at one time. Only coaches and upcoming wrestlers are allowed on the mat. No Exceptions. Temperatures will be taken at the door. If anyone’s temperature is over 100.3 they will not be permitted to enter the venue. Two warnings will be given to anyone not wearing their mask. On the third time they will have to leave the venue for the rest of the event. The venue will be cleared out at the end of each division for cleaning. If a spectator is unable to wear a mask, they will not be allowed to enter the venue for their safety and that of the wrestlers/spectators/coaches and workers.

Music City Brawl
ALL wrestlers must weigh-in Friday, 1/15/21, evening from 6-8 PM. Weigh-ins will be held at Embassy Suites Hotel ( 1200 Conference Center Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37129) or Wilson Central High School (419 Wildcat Way, Lebanon, 37090). Wrestlers will weigh-in a singlet and need to have their AAU card and mouth guard if they have braces.

Tournament schedule:
Tots & Juniors: 8 AM
Bantam, Midgets, & Girls: 11AM
Middle School: 4PM
*Middle School wrestlers need to arrive by 3 pm to warm up with the team prior to the start time.

COVID GUIDELINES WILL BE FOLLOWED: Everyone at the tournament will have to wear a mask and have their temperature checked each time they enter the building. Wrestlers may only take it off during their match.

Admission: $10.00 Children under 6 FREE. Make sure to bring your own chairs, seating is not provided.

NCW will be registering wrestlers for the following remaining tournaments. Tournament & coaching information will be emailed once information is released for these events. We will send out a google form for each event to be completed. Only those who complete the google form by our preset deadline will be registered. Parents will be responsible for registering their wrestlers after our deadline.
