The NCW Middle School is traveling for the Baylor tournament Saturday.

Leaving from Father Ryan Saturday morning at 5:00 am and weigh-in at 8:45 (Eastern time). Wrestling starts at 10:00 am and finished at 3:30. Dinner at Sugars following wrestling.

The following wrestlers will attend and must make weight: 74-Wesnofske, 80-P.Killian, 88-J.Killian, 96-Moultry, Rodgers, 102-A.Pergande, 110-S.Pergande, W.Rosenblatt, 125-Fisher, Vogelpohl. 142-J.Rosenblatt, 152-Anderson, 167-Walling

Holiday practice schedule

The Club and Middle School teams will practice on Sunday Dec 22, and Dec 29 at 4:30 pm. There will not be practice on Christmas Day or New Years Day (Wed).

The Middle school team is invited to practice with the High School on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am – noon. This is Dec 23, 24, 26, 30, 31 and Jan 2. We will resume our regular practice schedule on Jan 6.

A reminder the Club season (K-8) begins this Sunday December 1 with sign-ups and first practice.

Congrats to the NCW Middle School team who placed second in the tough Golden Cross Duals in Ohio. NCW beat powerhouses Moeller, La Salle, and St. Edward before losing to Graham in the final.

There are (2) Middle School matches this week. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 5:00 at Tullahoma for a tri or quad and Thursday, Dec. 5, 4:00 at Brentwood Academy. A reminder there is no tournament on Saturday, Dec. 7.

For those in town the Middle School team will practice Wednesday Nov 27 9:00 am – noon, and Friday Nov 29 9:00 am to noon. There will be no practice Wednesday night.

On Friday afternoon the following wrestlers (must make weight) will meet at Father Ryan and leave promptly at 4:00 pm on a team bus for Golden Cross Duals in Cincinnati on Saturday:

For parents driving up on their own and taking their son with them, or having their son stay with them in their own hotel room, please contact Coach Gorham at 615-319-3038 ASAP. Weigh-ins at are 10:00 am Saturday with wresting to start at noon.

Also make note the tournament the following weekend on Dec 7 is canceled.

The NCW Club team begins with an informational meeting, signups and practice this Sunday December 1 at 4:30 in the Father Ryan wrestling room. No experience is necessary and “Club” is designed for boys K–8 to learn the basics of wrestling. Registration forms can be found on the main page or in the link below. Cost is $150.00 and there are available tournaments, where boys wrestle others their size and age group. Practices will be Sunday 4:30 – 6:30 pm, Monday 5:30 – 7:15 pm and Wednesday 5:30 – 7:15 pm. If your son participates in other sports, they are welcome to come when they can.
