The AAU State Tournament is now an open tournament, which means no qualifying. This will not be a tournament for beginners. They are limiting the number of wrestlers to 1100. I will go ahead and register the boys tonight that are interested in wrestling to try to assure them a spot. I must know by 6:00 tonight who will be wrestling and what weight class they will be going. Email me at constancewesnofske@comcast.net to confirm your son will be going, do not forget to tell me the weight class. There is not a flyer out for state right now as they are making changes, I do not know the times of wrestling. It is next Saturday, February 28 in Cookeville. Information from previous tournaments:

Junior/Novice – 2003/2004 – 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 120, 130, 140, HWT
MS / School Boy – 2000/2001/2002 *no 9th graders, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 152, 160, 171, 189, 220, 250
Weigh-ins will be done in singlet with a one-pound allowance only.
Wrestlers not making registered weight will bump up to the next weight class. There will be no exceptions.
