For the middle school team:
The Philo Electric wrestling tournament is Saturday, January 10, at Tri-Valley High School, 46 E. Muskingum Ave, Dresden OH 43821.
We will leave from Father Ryan High School on a bus Friday, January 9, at 7:30 am and return to Father Ryan High School Sunday, probably between 4-6:00 am.
Wrestlers will ride the bus. Parents are welcome to ride also, I just need to know ahead of time who will be riding.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Express, 1101 Spring Street, Zanesville OH 43701. The phone number is 740-297-4751. Parents need to call Tuesday, 1-6-15,* at the latest* to claim a room. They will be released after Tuesday. Rooms close to the tournament are hard to come by, so please claim your room asap.
They allow us to bring more than one wrestler per weight class and they have a 3 match guarantee in the secondary tournament, 5th graders included, so contact me by practice Monday if you would like to go and we can discuss if it would be an appropriate trip for you.
The weights you need to make are:
82, 88, 94, 100, 106, 112, 118, 124, 130, 136, 144, 152, 162, 174, 207, 247.

Club and middle school
Monday and Wednesday middle school will practice from 5:30 – 7:15.
Wednesday club will practice from 5:30 – 6:45.
Next weekend January 9 – 10, FRHS will host their invitational tournament. We have been asked to contribute drinks for the hospitality room. Club team is asked to bring water and soft drinks and middle school team is asked to bring water and sports drinks. These items may be dropped off at practice tomorrow, Monday or Wednesday. Also, the NCW wrestlers help out at the tournament by being towel tappers and bout runners so please plan to attend and wear your NCW wrestling T-shirt. For those that received shirts tonight, some adult mediums may have been passed out instead of youth mediums. Return to practice on Wednesday and we will switch out! Those that didn’t get the shirt tonight I will hand out Wednesday. Times for the tournament will be posted later this week.

I must know Wednesday at practice if your child will be wrestling at this event. Email me at constancewesnofske@comcast.net to let me know what weight they will be going.
