Most of you already know, but for those that don’t, Coach Cole’s mother, Kathy Moseley, passed away this week. her obituary follows:

Kathy Wilson Moseley

Nashville – Kathy left us suddenly on December 27, 2019. Our hearts are broken. She was born on October 8, 1965 to Patsy Krenson Hibbett and the late Thomas B. (Sonny) Wilson. She is predeceased by her daughter Shelby Lauren and survived by her most loving husband, Glen Moseley, and beloved children Cole and Emily and future son-in-law Patrick Carr. She will be dearly missed by her sister, Mittie Wilson Hale and brothers, Tommy (Jodie), Bobby (Molly), Chris (Cathy) and Scottie (Laurel), all of Nashville, her many nieces, nephews, dear friends and co-workers. Kathy graduated from Father Ryan High School in 1983 and the University of the South-Sewanee in 1987. A fierce competitor in all games and sports, women’s soccer was the place she excelled as a player and a coach. Dedicated to her family and friends, she nurtured all of us with food, laughter and her beautiful spirit. Her capacity for love was unmatched by anyone we’ve ever met.

A visitation will be held Monday, December 30th from 4 to 7 p.m. and a funeral Mass at 10:00 am on Tuesday the 31st. St. Henry Church, 6401 Harding Road. Memorial contributions can be made to Father Ryan High School or St. Henry School.

All of NCW is encouraged to attend. Laura Roark (Venmo: @Laura-Roark-1 and the last 4 digits if verification is needed are 0079) and Charmaine Eason (Cash App: $thecmebrand) are accepting donations for Coach Cole, or you can just give it directly to them before Thursday. You are under no obligation to contribute and the donation will be from NCW.

There will be a middle school practice with the varsity at 9am Monday (tomorrow) and 9 am Wednesday. There will probably be a practice on Tuesday and Thursday but the time has not been determined yet. Sunday we will practice at the normal time.

There will be NO Crumbsnatchers practice on Wednesday. The next Crumbsnatchers practice will be Sunday at the normal time.

The Johnny Drennan Invitational is this weekend at Father Ryan High School. NCW families are encouraged to donate a case of water and/or sports drink for the hospitality room. NCW wrestlers are encouraged to wear their NCW gear and serve as table workers and towel tappers during the tournament. Report to Coach Humes when you arrive and he will assign you a mat.

The Music City Brawl tournament is this Saturday, January 4th at the Alliance Training Center in Franklin. If you want to wrestle in this Individual AAU tournament, we will have a Coach Roark there.
