Info for Burnett Camp in OH:
Here is the plan for the upcoming trip to the Burnett Camp on June 1. We need to know how many will participate to arrange transportation and hotels, so if attending you must respond to Coach Gorham by this Saturday May 19, at gorhamdent@aol.com. The tentative schedule is:
Leave Friday, June 1, at 6am
Lunch in Columbus at Emilio’s
Arrive in Milan at 3:30
Practice 5-7
Dinner and bed
Saturday breakfast at hotel
Practice 9-11
Lunch delivered
Practice 12-2, 3-4
Shower
Church at 5:30
Dinner at Vince’s Mom’s house
Sunday breakfast at hotel
Practice 9-12
Shower and leave at 1:00, back mid evening.
Cost is $150 made out to NCW. This will cover the camp, hotel, and transportation. Wrestlers should bring money for meals ($40-$60).

Practice changes:
Due to final exams, the next two Elite practices (Thursday May 17, and Monday May 21) will be canceled. Next scheduled practice will be Thursday May 24.
We are also canceling Elite practice on Monday May 28 as it is Memorial Day.
Freestyle / Greco State wrestling tourney this Saturday May 12 at McCallie
You did not have to wrestle this past weekend to go to State. Sign-ups will be this Thursday at Elite practice for this State FS/GR tournament. NCW will pay your entrance fee of $25, but if you do not show we will charge the fee back to you.
Wrestlers must have a red and a blue singlet or a reversible red/blue singlet. We have a limited amount of reversible singlets and will sell them for our cost ($40) Thursday night. You will not be allowed to wrestle in any other singlet.
Friday, 5pm weigh-in at David Lipscomb HS.
Tournament is Saturday starting at 10am EST (9CST) at McCallie. Arrive 1 hour early to warm up.
Some wrestlers will probably need help with transportation. We will try and figure that out Thursday night. For parents driving, please let us know how many open seats you have.

Thank you to Coach Burnett and his wrestlers who traveled from OH and put on a great camp this past weekend. A special thanks to Coach Gorham, Gobbell, and Vince who set up, coordinated, and made this happen for us.
For Elite wrestlers, there is a Freestyle and Greco tournament this Saturday starting at 8:00 CST (9:00 EST) in Cleveland TN. NCW will cover the registration costs for those who register and participate. Weigh-ins will be conducted at our practice this Thursday at Father Ryan, and signups are tonight (Monday) at Elite practice.
Save the date for a road trip to another Burnett Trained Wrestling Camp on June 1-3 in Cleveland OH. Anticipated cost per wrestler is $150 which includes camp cost, and depending on the number of participants there may be additional travel and lodging costs.

Burnett Clinic this weekend and is free to NCW Middle School and Father Ryan wrestlers. Schedule is Friday May 27, 5:00 – 7:30pm, Saturday 10:00 – 12:30 and 2:00 – 4:30 PM, and Sunday 10:30 – 12:00.
